POLICY OF SCHOOL OF RELIGION
Dear Student,
To help you learn about God and study well during this school year, we ask you to keep the
following rules :
- Come to class on time and attend class regularly. You have Giao class every Sunday during the school year from 8:00 am – 10:00 am
- During the school year, you are permitted to be absent from Giao Ly class 3 times. However, when you cannot attend class, you are responsible for asking your parents to call and inform your teacher of your absence. If you miss class or are tardy more than 3 times for any reason you will not be advanced to the next grade at the end of the school year.
- Attend and participate actively in Sunday Mass for children and youths at 10:00 am.
- Attend the yearly Day of Retreat and all the Confession times assigned to your class.
- No indecent clothes, no body piercings, no tattoos or punky hairstyles, and no objects that can cause physical injuries (such as knives, guns …etc…) are permitted at school.

- Respect your teacher and follow the rules that your teacher sets up for your class.
- Respect the properties of the parish. Your parents will be responsible to pay for any property damages caused by you.
- When coming to class, you must bring with you all the books and school supplies necessary for your study.
- Study your lessons well. Participate in class. Do all your homework and turn it in on time. Read your Bible assignment weekly. Learn your prayers. All of these will be graded.
- For your safety, you may not leave the school building unaccompanied by either parents or your teachers during classes.
- In order to be advanced to the next grade at the end of the school at least grade C = 70%.
- The grading system of our Giao Ly program is as follows :

A = 90-100 Giỏi (Excellent)
B = 80-89 Khá (Good)
C = 70-79 Trung Bình (Satisfactory)
D = Dưới 70 Cần cố gắng (Needs improvement)
